Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) of Sumatera Barat Province in Maret 2024 was recorded at 119.66 and the Price of Harvested Dry Grain at the Farmer Level rose 3.38 percent

Abstract

Sumatera Barat's NTP in March 2024 was 119.66 or an increase of 1.66 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose by 3.34 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 1.66 percent.
Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2024 was 122.27 or an increase of 3.28 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In March 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 106.32 for the food crops subsector (NTPP); 129.27 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH); 136.50 for the smallholder plantation crops (NTPR) subsector; 109.39 for the livestock subsector (NTPT); and 93.75 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 98.29 and 90.29 respectively.
In March 2024, the average price of GKP quality grain at the farmer level increased by 3.47 percent from IDR 7,425.79 per kg (February 2024) to IDR 7,683.13 per kg (March 2024).
