Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) of Sumatera Barat Province in February 2024 was recorded at 117.71 and the Price of Harvested Dry Grain at the Farmer Level rose 4.55 percent

Abstract

Sumatera Barat's NTP for February 2024 was 117.71 or an increase of 1.05 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose by 2.20 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 1.14 percent.
Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) February 2024 was 118.38 or an increase of 2.02 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
In February 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 105.96 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 121.34 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 134.89 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTPR), 106.43 for the livestock subsector ( NTPT), and 92.52 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 96.87 and 89.22 respectively.
