Abstract

Sumatera Barat's NTP for July 2024 was 123.72 or down 1.28 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decrease in NTP was due to a decrease in the Farmer Received Price Index (It) by 2.24 percent and the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) by 0.96 percent.

The Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in July 2024 was 126.31 or down 2.19 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

In July 2024, the NTP for each sub-sector was recorded at 101.16 for the food crops sub-sector (NTPP), 121.47 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTPH), 157.67 for the people's plantation sub-sector (NTPR), 108.48 for the livestock sub-sector (NTPT), and 91.85 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTPN). The fisheries sub-sector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture sub-sectors with NTPs of 93.01 and 90.96 respectively
