The Sumatera Barat Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in June 2024 was recorded at 125.33 and the price of dry harvested grain at the farmer level fell by 5.09 percent.

Abstract

The Sumatera Barat Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) was 125.33 or an increase of 1.30 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose by 1.63 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.33 percent.

The Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in May 2024 was 126.99 or an increase of 2.27 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

In June 2024 the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 103.96 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 133.90 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 149.34 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTPR), 110.55 for the livestock subsector ( NTPT), and 92.01 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 93.73 and 90.70 respectively.
